Thanks to Christina and the rest of the Tucson volunteers for their 6 full days of fantastic hospitality, social events and wonderful orienteering experiences. Very memorable in a good way!

The Tucson events were super-fantastic!!! THANK YOU to all the volunteers -- I had a great time. (And still having fun so far in Phoenix...)

p.s. I was assuming I'd lose an hour of sleep in between the night-o and the Sunday morning event, but then I remembered Arizona does not celebrate DST. Hooray!

Yes, thanks Tucson.

I particularly enjoyed Thursday at Chimney Rock. The courses took us to the "good stuff" way up north, spent maximum time there, and brought us back, all without inflicting cross-compartment pain. This old map is still in very good shape. The road could use some work:)

I still laugh about the sign at mile marker 9: "Exploding targets phohibited" Imagine the day when the BLM employee's boss said: "Jim, the most important thing you can do today is put up a sign at mile marker 9 on that barely passable road about exploding targets." Guess he should have added something about spelling too, but hey...

Our first time at this event and we enjoyed it immensely! Will be definitely coming back if it falls again on our spring break: the first week of March. Just saying :)

Thanks to the Tucson Orienteering Club for an incredibly fun and well-planned week of orienteering adventures! Each race was special in a different way. There were so many hard working, capable, friendly volunteers ensuring that every event was a success and all of us felt welcome. Three cheers for Cristina and her team!

Many thanks to TSN and GPHXO for the fabulous week of orienteering.

I first impression of the event from the website was positive and that feeling continued all the way to the final event.

Hats off to all the people involved.

We hope to return next year!!!

An off duty border patrol agent shooting an exploding target was the cause of a major wildfire near Tucson a few years ago. The Sawmill Fire in 2017 burned over 46,000 acres and over 100 people evacuated.

Think the spelling error was original? It’s pretty easy to turn an “r” into an “h”? Although it wouldn’t be the first mid-spelled sign to get put up.

Thanks to Ron and the rest of Phoenix volunteers for 3 great retro-style events to wrap up the week! Great terrain - worthy of a hosting a championship someday.

I agree with @cmpblly, all events were excellent and unique, but Chimney Rock is my favorite memory!

Chimney Rock -- also my favorite (despite the rough drive up).

Thank you to both the TSN and GPHXO organizers and volunteers!
