I find that they are specialists. I get wood frogs in certain marshes, peepers in others, green frogs who seem to like the water a little deeper. They are the main customers in these parts. Peepers will start singing soon, green frogs more toward summer.

There was a time a few years back when I learned a bit about frogs and toads (and the noises they make), but Charlie has far surpassed whatever bit I learned.

But the real experts are online. If you live in the Northeast, This is a fine resource.
