Our next door neighbour saw it on Darebin road, apparently it did eventually get rescued and taken to kangaroo hospital for some recovery.

Thought it must have been near your place. Wonder where it came from? (I don't think I've ever seen a roo in the Merri or Darebin Creek parklands, or the Yarra anywhere downstream of Heidelberg).

They suspect down the darebin from gresswell forest - definitely pretty lost.

Do kangaroos have their own hospital? I hope they get the Medicare levy deducted from their salaries.

They don't earn enough to be eligible for the surcharge.

Damned unemployed loafing off our generous medical system as usual (with any luck I won't earn enough to pay the levy this year either).

Don't know about kangaroo hospitals but there used to be something in Port Melbourne called a 'Duck Education Centre'. Going past this morning I see it is now 'Dux Kitchen'.
