What does "popping the door" entail these days. Physical manipulations, or an electronic master FOB.

Pry the top corner of the door a little with a logging wedge and maybe a pneumatic pillow, then reach in with a long stiff wire and snag the door handle. If that doesn’t work, find a locksmith or car dealer … or get a brick.

Well before fob's/smart locks etc, I eventually had a car key in a magnet box stuck to the bottom my '76 van - getting locked out had happened more than once. I locked myself out of my running car in the early 90s... I used to hide keys somewhere near the car (ie under leaves, a branch/stone on the ground), paying attention of course. At Harriman way back, I dug around for more time than I should have.... At the last local O meet, an orienteer ran with her key on her person and lost it. What ever happened to leaving them on top of the right rear tire...:-)

Fobs on top of the tire are too close to keep the doors locked. Someone can just come up and pull the handle open. Got to get it out of range.
