Can you go see a PT? sleep with a strassbourg sock or a boot? Calf massage?

PT and calf massage are good ideas. My issue with PT is that it takes so much of my non-existent time. Last time i tried a strassbourg or boot i ended up with cramps waking me up in the middle of the night repeatedly. I feel like just switching up my game might give me the break I need, but maybe no.

Before Cape Cod marathon I had PF in my right foot. I skied all winter and didn't run at all to rest it. But it was back in the spring. Somehow it disappeared over the summer with trail running. Now this started with PF in left foot. And it's much more painful now than anything previously. I don't think running through it is going to work. Even stretching seemed to make it worse.

Makes sense that stretching is aggravating it. PF is inflamed tissue, so stretching more on it might just make it worse. Probably icing, or rolling on an ice ball, a good idea. Maybe the opposite of a strassbourg sock; wear squishy shoes with a big heel/toe drop.

Ken jr (Mr. Attackpoint) dealt with PF for years and swore by never walking barefoot. Could try that, and just live in a pair of hokas.

Really frustrating.

If rollerskiing works, I'm getting my poles in order to do some bike path DPing.
