Looking forward to your report! How did your back hold up?

All my injuries held up well. I would occasionally feel my ankle, back or knee if I stepped funny, but for the most part everything was fine. I forgot how hard it was to breath at 12,000 ft. though! Any slight uphill - including the set of stairs to my room in the lodge - had me huffing and puffing, although it did get a bit better by the end.

That sounds like a great trip! I'm so glad everything worked out --- time spent with your kids is such a gift. Can't wait to see the pictures!

Enjoyed looking through your photos and hearing about your hikes. It's great that your "boys" and Brenna could travel with you on this trip. I'm sure you all have lots of good memories to keep.

Really enjoyed the write up and photos. I don’t think I could have done that at that altitude. Wonderful that you could and so special to be with your kids!
