| Nick: | the 3$ discount per race applies only to USOF members ( as posted on the web , or other like COF benefit of the same ??) |

| JDW: | actually it does apply to COF and IOF as well. The registration program already takes this into account, however it was not noted on the event info page. |

| JanetT: | Can you provide any more information on the Tshirt offered? Design? Color(s)? |

| fossil: | I keep puzzling over this description of South Mountain: Because of the rocky ground and the campus stone/concrete walks, runners will want to bring their rubber cleats instead of metal.
It doesn't actually say "studded shoes are not allowed". I don't (yet) have studless O-shoes. Is this a terrain where a rubber street shoe is going to be good enough? Or do we need an aggressive O-shoe tread to get adequate grip? It sounds pretty steep. |

| JDW: | fossil, I beleive that statement applies to the campus map/terrain, for which you definitely dont' want spikes. Traill running shoes are probably ideal for Saturday. I'll double check on Monday (South Mountain) as it relates to footwear. |

| JDW: | An official decision has been made. Metal spikes will not be allowed for the sprint. They're fine for the other 2 courses. |
