No worries about the o' meet...I can definitely relate (I had one of those days at US champs this year...messed up a 150-meter bearing twice, and ended up wandering around in the semi-green for ages before looping back and ending up where I started...)

Sandy: Hmm...I wonder if I just lost my last chance ever to beat you on a course. :)

I was really bummed that I had to stay home and work today. Sounds like FCE was tough but fun.

Acampbell: i'm not so sure about that sandy i did really bad today! you've still got much better navigation skills compared to me and if my knees keep getting worse i won't be that fast either.

but yeah it was really tough! there were not that many big features so hard to relocate! too many times did i think i was at one charcoal terres and i was at another.
