I sometimes loose feeling in my toes/feet because there isnt sufficient blood supply, because my calf muscles are quite tight and compress the main artery. I only ever get it without much of a warm up/stretching, and then running uphill to begin with. So maybe try having a real good stretch before you start your running, and also important to strecth after each run!

Ditto. Only every get it in races uphill for some reason. Perhaps way you lace your shoes, but its as your calf muscles expand on the uphills and compress the blood supply to your feet. Always goes away again on the downhills.
