| Acampbell: | Always wanted to try rowing in a single. Is it hard? |

| Hillary: | well... I had been rowing sweep all through college and picking up sculling was still kinda difficult. But there are nonracing boats that are less tippy if you want to practice sculling. But there is a lot more technique involved in sculling then there is in sweep, either that or it is just a lot more nociable to my coaches what I was doign wrong all through college techniquewise. |

| Acampbell: | Hmm that is cool. yeah at camp i have done both sweep and sculling, however i'm sure my technique is quite bad. I actually enjoyed sculling better, however that might have been because the boat was a quad and we actually got us all rowing in that way more often than we could get the two 8's rowing all together. Hope i can try a double or single at some point that would be a lot of fun. |

| Hillary: | Quads are definetly fun, especially if you don't have to steer, you can concentrate on more technical stuff if you have to because they are more stable. Doubles are good too to do that in, it is just in singles you have to think a whole lot more about steering, technique, how any move can flip you, all that fun stuff. |
