Derek Easton - he was on the committee when I joined many years ago but only seen occasionally these days, all his time goes to coaching Central Athletics (he won that Coach of the Year trophy before Jase).

In his younger (slimmer days!) he was a pretty top runner and was part of the CofF posse on the beach (you know it was filmed at St Andrews?).

Hmm, doesn't really work does it? Although to be fair, sometimes it can work...

I suspect, to be fair, Elle was making a play on words to encourage some banter... There would have to have been a comma after the pretty if he meant pretty in looks in this context. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I suspect that you might also find that Elle chose to misspell "capable" to see if JonX could resist correcting her and maintain the truce. We will never know.....

My old primary school teacher used to make "deliberate" mistakes all the time. She was the one that sent one boy for a tin of tartan paint. He was the one that we used to make be sick so we could go and play football. Happy days.

Hopefully you didn't make him sick by forcing him to drink the tartin paint.
