ccsteve: I'm not so much into running races (esp road running), but that's the kind of race I would go for if I had the time;-) Woods, trails, hills, and post-race refreshments - what more could you ask for? Can you get in on a race by race basis?

Yes, I think you (and most orienteers) would have enjoyed this one. And yes, you can get in on a race by race basis; it's $10 per race. The next race is May 21 at Webster Park, then June 18 at Ellison Wetlands. Then it cycles back through Mendon, Webster, and Ellison for the following three months. Looks like fun. I may have to jump in the June race, although it's just after the Rogaine, so it may be a game-day decision. I can't do May, since it's right before the US Team Trials in PA.
