jtorranc: For the Apostle? The Beatle? Other?

Cristina: All of the above, where Other = ex-boyfriend.

I still haven't decided where this will go. What comes next? Matthew? Thomas? Ringo? Joe?

speedy: How about Other = New-boyfriend?!

Bash: Did you try the shoes on pavement at all? I know that's not what they're for, but I've thought about those shoes, and I'm wondering what it would be like to use them in races with mixed terrain that includes the occasional hard surface. I love my IceBugs, but they don't feel great on pavement.

Cristina: Yeah, this was on-and-off pavement, as the 1/2 mile to and from the bike path is on roads, plus some bits of asphalt elsewhere. They're pretty comfortable on the road. Obviously not as cushy as a road shoe, but I think the beefiness of the rubber studs offers more cush than on traditional O shoes. There was no poking feeling like you get with metal studs. I'm not going to go out and run 10 miles on the road with them on purpose, but I don't think it would be a problem if I had to. Supposedly these weigh more than my road shoes, but they actually feel very light. And they're named Paul... what more could you ask for?
