bubo: So what are you planning to build?

If you look at Alternativet they just now have an article presenting four different solutions by Swedish runners...

Jagge: I am not much of a handyman, I'd never be able to do something like those DIY lamps they have in alternetivet. Duct taping a flashlight to an old head band is a task big enough for me.

I ordered a cheap led flashilight, it should be quite powerfull and it should have very wide beam. I'll try to fasten it somehow to a old headband and use it with a battery pack made out of rechargeable AA batteries using some kind of battery holder.

It should give about 700-900 lumens (may not be true?), burning time 1:10 - 2:20 and weight 250-450g depending on battery setup. And I shouldn't have to do much, just wire the battery back to the lamp and fix lamp to my old head band. Flashlight & battery pack will cost about 70 euros. And a handyperson should do it all in few minutes - I'll work with it for days :|
