MikeS: It was exciting though! It's disappointing when they don't think about who is on what gaffle. Also, there were only two sets of gaffled bits (1 to 7 and 8 to 17) which doesn't seem enough. Nails had 6 for BUSA! There are plenty of features on that map.

Nails: yep 46656 possible different combinations. There was about 30 teams so had 15 different combinations.

Not only that but where was the seeding? -anyone in the top 10 from last year should have had different gaffling throughout.

These days its not even hard to work out gaffles -course software outputs the gaffled maps and course info which can be easily imported into download software.

But then we shouldn't go there because we all know how hard it is to synchronise 2 computer clocks! Lets brush it all under the carpet.

MikeS: 4 of the top 6 teams had exactly the same gaffling throughout yesterday (INT, SYO1, WAROC and ShUOC). Only EUOC and SYO2 were different, and not the same as each other.

hel vino: Congrats or King of the Forest & for staying with a fresh legged Murray Strain after Saturday's effort. Got to admit it's been nice to see INT, ShUOC, KOK & WING relay victories this year.. :)
