mouse136: where does your loop go?

#  Posted 2008-05-01 08:57:59
briohny: I park at the music bowl and then go into the bush and start where tyre climb over exercise thingy is... then I either go straight up the hill and do the loop that way or go south along the track and do the loop that way (I dont really stick to the main track, more the single tracks)

By the way, when's the new addition due? Hows Bec going? Hope all is well

mouse136: Due 30/6/2008. Bec is going well and Lily is keeping us on our toes.

I had a loop on Willans once (and probably should start doing it again) it starts at the rope/ pole climb on the main track and goes north along the track to the single track that goes parrallel to baden powell drive then i go up that till almost the top where and single track goes down the hill to another single track which goes parrallel to the main track i started on. When i reach the saddle where dirt and bitchumen tracks meet i head west and then down a single track to my main track istarte don and finish back at the rope/pole climb. it was around 7-8 mins for me running hard.

That is actually a really confusing description but it included hillls and flat and dodgy single tracks so i fiound it a good worout/ interval. you can get lots of good loops on that hill.

Golfer: I agree - a REALLY confusing description. Scary thing is I understood the whole thing! Obviously know the Hill too well.
