| Spike: | Seems strange that the fraud program would stop a $6 purchase (even if the system didn't draw the connection between being in Iceland and making a purchase in Iceland). There is something a bit creepy about those real-time fraud programs.
Having traveled in Iceland and paid Icelandic prices, I'm having a hard time imaging finding something to buy that cost as little as $6. |

| PG: | I do believe it was for an internet connection.
I also got something to eat, a croissant with a little something in it, cost $4.75 US, got my change back in Icelandic kronor, 30 of them. On the way back, tried to find something to buy for 30 kronor, cheapest thing I could find was a piece of candy for 49, so the 30 is still burning a hole in my pocket. |

| cedarcreek: | I was busy all day during Tiomila. At around 1am my time, I was dying to watch the last leg or two, so I was trying to pay the 40 SEK (about 6 or 7 bucks), and my bank somehow nixed the transaction. I submitted a complaint with lots of capital letters, but no cursing. |
