| fthfl stwrd rudy: | Might be the warm weather. Looks like you got that running dialed in. Are you following a specific training plan? |

| MDeVoll: | The warm weather and some stress on the homefront with my three year old getting into so much trouble at her school that they asked us to contact our pediatrician to talk about her behavior. It's amazing how much worrying about her has sapped my energy.
The running plan is from a book my dad (an avid runner in his prime) handed down to me. It's a plan for running the 10K in 50 minutes, though I'm anticipating running the UCIty 10K in something between 45 and 50. Can't remember the book title now, but will post it later. |

| fthfl stwrd rudy: | sorry to hear about your kid stress. just remember, you are not in control of everything that happens, don't feel responsible. concerned sure, but not running yourself down.
hey, that happened to me when i was in nursery school, and look how I turned out!!!....oh, that's not very re-assuring, is it. |

| MDeVoll: | The book is Galloway's Book on Running.
Thanks, too, for the words of encouragement. We're talking to someone on Monday who should give us some insight into Maddie's behavior and some tips on what we can do (and what to let go of trying to control). She's a spirited little girl and I hope she always will be. She's just got to stop throwing blocks and chairs. |
