-jr-: I never perfected the tumbleturn...it always ended in tears for me, i would either get too close and crack my ankles on the wall or too far away and be left pushin water, surprisingly not actually going anywhere. 50% of the time my tragic excuse for a tumbleturn occured at the shallow end where masses of people generally congregated and and were able to witness this gawky spectacle. The shame - and this shame is heaped on top of the already embarrassingly slow pace of my swimming, coupled with the ever stylish budgie smugglers. In the end i opted for the 3sec breather touching the wall allowed.

joshwa: bahahaha. although...probably an ever bigger challenge for you was to avoid hitting the roof with your feet. let along the wall. no wonder you always got too close you prob only had time for one stroke before you had to turn again :P hehe. sorry josh. nah, i know youre a better swimmer than what you are claiming to be. hows sickness healing up?

-jr-: ahaha...havent heard a lank joke in ages! Its good stuff and with Tom now on AP, there should be ample opportunity for more. Yea not feelin the best, but good enough to train...so that is good. Well done on baggin the 100 big ones (twice!) over the w/e.
