OK, but over the (admittedly) long term you'd eventually get just as much energy out of there if you put up a zillion wind turbines. Then when a duck got killed it'd be sliced and ready for the grill and if it (the installtaion of all those turbines) turned out to be an environmental disaster it'd be easier to recover from than trying to plant trees in tailing ponds.

I thought I would have been more horrified (i.e. shocked) but due to the fact the overall production is so large, you get snippets of what is happening and only after you think about it and process it you realize how bad it is. I felt like riding a bike at the end of the day.
