| AliC: | Yikes, you're out rollerskiing! But good stuff, I secretly even miss rollerskiing. Hope the cross-training regime helps the healing! |

| arcticQn: | Wow, rollerskiing....I don't miss those days.. I drove over the Kancamangus highway last weekend, were UNH does their annual Kanc ski, reminscing about the ol' days. Talk about skiers elbow...after about 45 miles of rollerskiing..ouch. ...ok, i miss rollerskiing just a bit, but no more than 5 miles worth! |

| Andrew: | Roller-skis are the last resort of incredibly depressed people. Or is it suicide? |

| BorisGr: | Any tips (other than "don't rollerski") on minimizing damage/pain caused by "skier's elbow"? |

| Swisscheese: | I believe a slow build up would do it.
If you haven't skiied for a while I guess it is normal to have several aches. Ask somebody who hasn't run for several months how it feels to run 30min... |

| BorisGr: | :)
The problem is that it's usually the opposite - this pain comes after I skie a few days in a row, and now it came back a lot quicker. |

| bubo: | I guess I´ve experienced the "skier´s elbow" as well - both roller skiing (something I rarely do) and XC skiing.
In my case it may be that I´m just not strong enough in my arms, but it could also be a result of not having the best technique. Possibly more of a combination of the two - so a slow build up of (the right) arm muscles and trying to find the correct technique might do it. Maybe you´re using too much sheer strength and will power in double poling instead of technique? |

| ndobbs: | skate without poles |
