OJ: Didn't you fancy a second track session today? Good effort at a solo 3km - that must have been lonely!

#  Posted 2008-05-14 01:37:31
MikeS: Couldn't make it down tonight, so forced myself to go at lunchtime. It doesn't feel quite right running hard when there is nobody else there.

#  Posted 2008-05-14 16:41:49
Danger: should have let me know...I need to do another 3k pretty soon

#  Posted 2008-05-14 16:55:32
JennyJ: Oli might be going to an open track meet in Manchester on Tuesday...

#  Posted 2008-05-14 17:10:42
OJ: The word 'might' is an important one in that sentence.

#  Posted 2008-05-14 17:20:30
candyman: oooh, any 800's on the programme?

#  Posted 2008-05-14 18:01:08
JennyJ: there are indeed http://www.traffordac.co.uk/

#  Posted 2008-05-14 18:36:01
MikeS: Oli - really? What you going to run? I would recommend 3k steeple.

Danger - might do another one soon to try and go faster.

#  Posted 2008-05-14 19:15:50
OJ: The 3km was the suggestion...

#  Posted 2008-05-14 19:34:58
MikeS: That's a bit keen. Does this mean you might do some track meets for Hallamshire?

You could always run Askern 10k next Wednesday night.

#  Posted 2008-05-14 20:02:32
OJ: I could, but you have scheduled me in to organise the Spring Cup at Loxley...

#  Posted 2008-05-14 20:29:26
MikeS: The art of good organisation is not to be there for the actual race.

#  Posted 2008-05-14 20:35:02
JennyJ: Yeah but I can't hang the controls since I'm at work!

#  Posted 2008-05-14 20:37:14
candyman: If you are really good you can organise an event without even visiting the forest at all.... I guess another approach would be to update the map, check all the control sites and hang and collect all the controls yourself.

#  Posted 2008-05-14 20:44:28
MikeS: All or nothing.

#  Posted 2008-05-15 00:26:59
Danger: aaah, armchair planning. cant beat it

is woodburn road likely to be used at the weekend? I might head down on saturday for a 3k, a nice revision break
