Nowadays, when realtors are showing homes to folks moving to Cheyenne from more placid areas of the country like, say, California, they will warn them to never turn around, because they will lose their ass (to the wind.) The Cheyenne airport is purported to have the highest average windspeeds of any airport in the Lower 48, but nobody can be sure, because whenever they turn around to check the wind guage, they lose their ass (to the wind.) And that's the truth. |
