| Kat: | I wonder if at least a part of the reason your legs felt tired the last few days was some delayed effect of doing the 5km on Monday. (I say delayed because you felt good on Tuesday, but tired on Wednesday.) I've heard some people say that muscle soreness is usually worse two days after doing something strenuous than directly afterward, but I have no idea if this is actually true. And of course, it's also possible that your tiredness is just due to stress at work or something unrelated to training. Regardless, good that your legs are feeling better now! :) |

| szurcher: | I think you are totally right, Kat! I am pretty certain I have been tired because of the 5km (and the heat, lots of sun I got from running and watching the men race a few hours later), and also Marc has had a little cold and I think I have a bit of that cold as well. I feel better now, so that's good, but it reminds me that we can't underestimate the effects of a race on our body and that we should always listen to how we feel. |
