arcticQn: what happened? Did you lose terribly or win magnificently? (I obviously haven't seen results...)

#  Posted 2008-05-20 03:09:35
Joe: yeah, I know "who won"? no results yet, but I will tell you this much. the nav was very hard in places.

arcticQn: you don't even know who won?? Was it a rogaine-style race or something? That's cool the nav was tough, ..right? unless it was stupid tough, like bad maps or something. And tough for you must mean impossible for other teams...

Joe: we cruised. rogaine style start, rogaine bike O, rogaine finish. maybe 20 optional points and 19 mandatory cp's. the maps were good, but jeff found a better one for the bike section. everyone else struggled and we did not. final score was:
goals 730
nyara 790
ems 1035

Joe: I will try tonight.

Joe: my first estimate is about 15 paddle (16 if you include up the river and back to the put in ; )
bike was 64km measured so about 38 miles
trek was probably 6 and 6
