blairtrewin: ASC at Stromlo? Sounds pretty soft :-) When I were a lad, they made us run straight up the side of Red Hill (at least they did one year). I liked the idea but nobody else did (unfortunately I was also sick on the day and was 2nd at the top but 22nd at the bottom).

The sprint finish for a top-10 place in 1988 must have done deep psychological damage to the other party involved as he ended up going on a shooting rampage in the NT a few years back.

Luke P: and that is why we now run at stromlo :D

nah the course at stromlo was pretty pez. i much rather courses in bush, on tracks, with more hills. but im not sure if it would have made much difference :(

ps. did ivan malat ever run the red hill cross country??

belindaL: hahaha!!!
yeh they should get a tough course to run it on. i like the track for doing intervals on, but for a cross country race it should be way hillier! thats funny (and scary) about the guy on a shooting rampage...hahaha
