..."good time for a break". Maybe "good time for a minor sprain"?

Good point;) Its clearly not broken, but first time in a very long while I've had this much ache in a foot while just kicking around. Strangely indicative to the type of month I've been having. Just hoping some time off it will help.

No and thats why i'm perplexed on why it aches on the outside of my mid foot.

I had an ache in a similar location when I visited Calgary last time. Could it be a Calgary thing?? We figured it was the peroneal tendon, which is a common runner's problem. Mine cleared up in a few days, but it was painful to walk for awhile.

Barb might be right, a Calgary thing. Try shifting your massive wallet over to the other side. Or maybe your spurs are too tight on that cowboy boot.

Meridian you're right about this crap weather. I can't see from one side of the river valley here to the other.

Calgary thing indeed. I blame all my problems on Calgary. As Joel Plaskett would say "...there's a reason why I hate this town". Unfortunately Nev my wallet is on the side of the good foot and there is never any money in it anyways. I don't make that much money in relation to cost of living out here. It sickens me really.

Calgaryitis...I have felt similar symptoms before too!

I did have a similar foot thing when not in Calgary once though. For me, it was running in new shoes. Seems like 10h until they feel broken in for me.
