Considering it was my first road race i think i did pretty well. I wanted to just finish in 1:30 or under, besides that it really was a training run, no real expectations. It helped though running with someone, TriHarder wanted to finish in the range i mentioned so i just tagged along and we just worked off eachother to finish in the time he wanted. I still couldn't believe there were over 600 ppl yesterday!

And yes crazy weather but good for the training camp if it keeps up. Snow in the woods is not the greatest thing especially if is deep!

Good on ya!

I'm probably coming down to Chedoke tomorrow to do the rally and might be bringing 'Romeo' with me (my buddy from out west who is here visiting his folk's in Campbellville for the holidays) to show him what the big-boys do at TNT's. You gonna be around?

Good job Meridian. Faster than you expected! What are the conditions in the woods in the Valley?

I was actually thinking of hitting the woods later this week but from what i saw off the rail trail near chedoke its just open as heck right now with snow in little patches. Its really been raining here the past few days. So that means extremely good O-conditions if we don't get a dumping before then. The trails however are a bit slick due to the ice.

I was much faster than i thought i would be for the run. Triharder and I have a friendly competition every time we race eachother so a bit of pride was on the line for this one which probably helped with the run. He had maybe a 1min lead on me going into the final stretch but i closed it down to 25s in the end. Pretty fun for a road race.
