Bash: There are a few KOS events around, and he might feel more comfortable if he watches one first. In Caledon, they have a KOS training program for a month before the race, so there is an opportunity to get comfortable with the idea. A lot of the kids *really* look forward to this event and take their training (or at least *their* idea of training) quite seriously. When they come back wearing their finisher's medals to pick up their trikes, I make a point of saying "Congratulations", and it's terrific to see their big, proud smiles.

The 3-5 year old category is the largest category here - over 100 entrants!
