| Kat: | I know the type of tiredness you mean! The first long run I did in Albuquerque wasn't even that long (around 90), but because of the altitude and the steepness, my heart rate was high for a good portion of that run, and I was dead tired when I got home. I took a three-hour nap that afternoon, which I had never done before!
It's good that you took some time off and now are feeling good again. Your body will get used to long runs. You'll feel tired after every long run you do, but hopefully not as tired as you felt this time, unless you really push it! |

| Becks: | Cheers Kat - it's weird because I've run for this amount of time before but I guess not really at any kind of pace - it's always been slower hill and terrain type runs. But yes, I'm sure I'll get used to them with time, it's just crazy how knocked out I was at the weekend! |
