| Joe: | I was not planning on the 3 of us competing. It was not my goal. I just wanted to compete in the trials to run alongside the WOC hopefuls. I did not even think about qualifying until after saturdays sprint. It's not like the old days when WOC consumed my thoughts daily. I had a decent run in the sprint, and an ok run in the middle. It occured to me that mathmatically I had a chance to make top 5, but unfortunately I did not come through in the long race. I am happy to make alternate and even happier to be there in Czech to support the team (and family). |
