| El Lukeo: | On my way to mt ainslie i was riding thru a garden that i always ride thru, not doing any damage. The d**khead who owns the house had put a plank with nails in it just under the tan-bark and i hit it. i suffered TWO flat tubes, AND my rear tyre was hit by a nail up the side splitting it. These are $70 tyres!!!(and two new tubes will be $18)....grrrr im angry. anyway i went home and swapped to my dads old road bike... it is a hunk of junk, the seat wasnt high enough etcetc. but it was better than nothing.
I'm thinking of retaliating by either egging the bastards house a few times, or causing $88 worth of damage to one of his new garden beds (plants cost about $12 each dont they?? thats about 7 plants pulled out!!?). anyway i thought about it a lot during my ride and deceided NOT to do either of these because that is immature and undemocratic (which is exactly what he was py putting the plank there) and two wrongs dont make a right. Instead i have written a letter telling him how much damage he did (to make him feel guilty), and explaining that it was a very undemocratic and immature way to deal with a problem. I will also appologise for riding through his garden (but seriously, going straight for the nails is pretty OTT) |

Im pist because i bought the new tyres less than 9months ago, they were a good upgrade, and i expected them to last 12 months... i wasnt going to invest in a new set until before the scott in october grrrr. i just had another idea. if i earn $8 per hour, then technically it will take me 11 hours of work to pay this off. so, if i cause him the inconvenience of 11 hours work, we can call things equal. How many eggs could you clean off a house in 11 hours. im guessing about 5 mins per egg. that is 12 per hour. 12x11=132.
hmmm. where am i going to get 11 dozen eggs? |
