| eddie: | Congrats on making the US WOC team Sandra! Good luck this week. We're all pulling for you. |

| szurcher: | Thanks! I am looking forward to WOC, I can't wait. Here in Latvia things are pretty tough. The terrain is hard, and the competition is even harder... I need to run a good race at some point, then I will be a little happier. |

| Kat: | The competition at the EOC is incredible and I think your long qualification heat in particular had a lot of really good women in it (or perhaps just more women whose names I recognize). Good luck this week and enjoy the nice terrain!
Eddie - why don't you post your training on Attackpoint anymore? You did pretty well at the Team Trials, so I assume you must have been training recently! :) |

| bubo: | Congratulations on making the team - although it was no big surprise - it still has to be made official :) |

| eddie: | Yes, I'm definately training. Trying to wean myself off of AP as much as possible. Its a big distraction, particularly at work. More importantly, I want to take my focus off training volume and concentrate on results instead. My volume is still about the same, I'm just not formally keeping track of it. I had a back injury in November...just strained it on a road run. Took about 6 weeks to come back starting with walking and stationary bike.
Oddly enough, my best race this weekend was the long on Sunday, where I was MP because I skipped #5. Ran within ~40m of it on the way to 6. So it goes. Had great flow for the whole race. All the cylinders were firing. It was an awesome feeling. I'm trying to capture whatever it was - blueberry bagel with peanut butter for breakfast? Still, a skipped control is no good. Even had all the information I needed to correct, but it didn't register until after the race. |
