Torino: Sandra, it cannot be underestimated what you are achieving all by yourself!! I don't think that many people are as strong as you are and would pull through what you do! I am imagining you going to the team leader's meetings getting your information, holding your own team meeting by yourself, developing plans for the best kind of orienteering, analyzing your races and leaning on your own shoulder when you are tired, disappointed or need company, or just somebody to goof of with and so on! Did I mention that you drive yourself to the races??
Nobody can blame you for not finding flow in that kind of high level competition. You are doing extremely well considering it all. And you keep on learning and growing.
We'll talk again if you'd like anytime, gäu!

bubo: I agree with what´s said above - and I hope that for WOC I can provide some of the things you have to do without this week.
Take the positive experiences with you and keep learning. You (and I) know you can orienteer just as good as many of the 'stars' you´re competing against - but as you have noted yourself - the mental side is also an important part of racing at high level. This week you don´t have the best conditions for doing well as a one person team - and the hills in Czech Republic will probably suit you better than the terrain in Latvia.
