vmeyer: A favorite route/place to run...details, map?

jeffw: Bald Hill is about 5 minutes from our house. It is one of the more forested parks in Corvallis, however, most of it is covered by poison oak. One unusual day there we saw: tree climbers going after mistletoe in the tops of the oak trees, mountain unicyclers riding on the muddy trails (impressive!), people training on wheeled dog sleds, and of course orienteers.

Our route

There are other routes that we take that have less doubling back, but this is our predominate one now, because we can see the trail better in the low light in the mornings. Paula and I do run "together". I run dog style. Up and back, up and back, repeat.

vmeyer: Thanks for the details - and the new running term - "dog style." :)
