elly: how did the team go? the thing i liked last year was the peter rose classic, twas madd. sounds as though u ran well considering yor poor sore legs :P

#  Posted 2008-05-31 17:54:14
joshwa: ran heaps better than yesty. team twob (steven, daniel, matt and me) came 3rd in the open men :D yew. i didnt end up running in a team hans made. lol.

#  Posted 2008-05-31 18:05:07

#  Posted 2008-05-31 18:22:03
joshwa: lol. nah he wasnt too bad :) i guess i can sorta see where he is coming from. and i think he did say some nice stuff to my dad today :)
and yes the stitch was a contributor. thought i was gonna get one today aswel but luckily i didnt. and in general i felt better aswel. wasnt as tried :S lol. and...as wierd as it sounds. i think it was coz i had run the day before. yeppp :P

elly: everybodys diff with their race prep, i say do wat feels right :P
i got a stitch once at school cross country in year 7.thats the only race ive ever gotten one in.gah. i can barely run through them. do u know wat causes them? i think theyr random.
pumped for state training?

#  Posted 2008-05-31 18:41:08
joshwa: i have no idea what causes them. im going to try and eat healthier. coz ive had it WAY more than once. not nice. lately ive had really bad ones :( but i hate like...saying it coz its always seems like the biggest excuse for a bad run.
umm...i dont know. bit nervous. espec now i think about the fact im actually going to state :l

#  Posted 2008-05-31 18:49:49
elly: uhh i hate that.. wen u actually feel sick or have pains but u cant say it cos it sounds like an excuse.. i wonder why you get stitches. i shouldve done my science assignment on thatt.
yeh im fair unhealthy too (mars bars for breakfast etc), but i have do like bananas.
state is gonna be a great experience, like me going to QBIII. its big and there arr ppl to meet from interesting places..like cootamundra.

#  Posted 2008-05-31 18:56:33
joshwa: yeah you should have. lol. if i find out ill tell you elly. haha.
MARS BARS FOR BREAKFAST. holey moley thats bad. lol. as long as they are those cool mars bar packets that you snap in half. haha.
i think im more concerned about not coming last then meeting people from cootamundra. lol.
speaking of QBIII. im gonna try and get some maps for you to have a look at. if you want. tamara thought it would be a good idea aswel (Y)

#  Posted 2008-05-31 19:04:08
elly: i did it on pandas instead. yeh i know im bad :(
dont go in there with that 'i just dont wanna come last attitude' coz i did that my first year and i came 2nd last i think..81st? anyway that mentality is screwed. last year i was just soo excited and it worked out well for me.
Ppl from cootamundra arr the best!
yes i would like thatt much pls but every time i think of oing i think of last sundays 'incident' (not a happy time).. do not want that happening at QBIII.

#  Posted 2008-05-31 19:25:31
joshwa: o ok. ill have to fix that then. lol
ill see if i can find some good ones. the best thing to do about that run elly is learn from it. and not get disappointed about it. i hear you caught ypur mum on course. and she did real well overall. ive had bad runs before heaps of times. some important ones too. its frustrating at the time but you can move on. okkk. and dont think about it when you are running. just concentrate on all the things you have to do. orientate map, bearings, routes etc :) youll be fiiiine :) im your caoch rememebr. haha.

#  Posted 2008-05-31 19:34:23
elly: howd ya find that out? i yelled out to her, loll.
yess i remember. thanks coach :)
