PBricker: And partly (I think) your improved conditioning. Those are some pretty awesome splits, especially 5 (with 60 m climb) and 12 (which angles up 20 m).

I left the streamers up partly for reruns, partly because my hands were freezing when I picked up the controls!. If anyone wants to run the course for training (and to compare splits with PG!), I'll be happy to send a pre-printed map.

cmorse: well, knowing the streamers are still there, perhaps I'll venture up there if it doesn't get buried in snow again. and maybe I won't crash this time.... L thigh still hurts, but only if I squat - running and other activities don't bother it a bit. Sprained thumb cleared up in a couple of days..
