Apropos to the New Year, we have some habanero news: The Altered Boogie Pepper is ready to boogie!

Did the tangerine die? I thought the tree might remain visible for those purusing history, but perhaps not...

I thinked it morphed or something like that. No snapshot of the fine citrineness though.

I took a local snapshot of the initial Altered Boogie Pepper, as that may be the highest I'll be for a while if my hamstring doesn't cooperate.

Hmmm... I had five days after the Long-O champs in November. I don't think I should have lost any until Alabama last January rolls off the list this weekend. Unless I've forgotten running an A event late in November or in December of 2004, Swampfox ought perhaps to check whether the current standings on display are the correct current standings.

Uh-oh! Jon, your observation is quite correct, and a revision will be forthcoming. A fairly substantial one, in fact, as I can find no evidence of the Fair Hill races being included whatsoever!

I thought it looked funny. The current Spicy Peppers list is the same as the Oct 31 Tangerinas listing (which I happened to copy before Fair Hill to see how much it changed afterwards).

Ok, it looks like some "modest" modifications were necessary to bring the Altered Boogie Pepper into the fiery form that every Naughty and Spicy Pepper has the right to expect.

I'm puzzled about how it happened, but there's no doubt *what* the result was, which was that the previously published Altered Boogie Pepper standings didn't reflect the DVOA Fairhill event, and it goes down as a serious goof!

Many thanks to Jon, and his sharp eyes for discovering the mistake!
