| Jon X: | I am quite jealous - did an amazing winter walk round the Glenfinnan Horseshoe on a stunning day a few years back, still have a photo of views across to the Cuillin that day as my screen saver!
Nice and steep too!! |

| Elle: | I tend not to use "nice" and "steep" in the same sentence... |

| Jon X: | I think you'll find it wasn't a sentence.... |

| Alibongo: | The steep bit worries me but the photos on the website look fantastic - let's hope there's not too much mist. |

| bradc: | I had the mountain rescue called out for me on the Glenfinnan Horseshoe on New Year's Eve 1992... well, my (drunken) mates were in the callbox in Arisaig calling them out when I screeched to a halt next to them. Caught in a whiteout with a couple of slow-moving walkers I'd picked up. Hope you have slightly better conditions than I did... but if you pick off any of the Munros on the north side of Glen Dessary I shall be incredibly jealous!
Don't forget your midge spray - you're entering Midge Central |

| Alibongo: | I know we're going to be out for ages but I wasn't planning on being out there until winter...
Eeks, those wee beasties are doomed! I'll be relying on Avon special formula and a highly attractive midge net for protection and praying for a breeze to blow them away. |
