| bbrooke: | there has been some talk of mapping it. steve willman's impression was that it's kinda steep, similar to devil's thumb in boulder. what do you think about its suitability for orienteering?
in any case, i bet it's a million times nicer than chatfield -- ugh. |

| Ratlaf: | Actually it'd be awesome for Oing. Somewhat steep in parts, a good trail network, and a grip load of Scrub Oak to cause all sorts of havoc. Not sure how open the State Parks would be to allowing us highly destructive, off trail, miscreants. Definitely worth a try though... |

| bbrooke: | What I've heard from Sverre is that the State Parks people are apparently pretty easy to detail with, especially compared to the Forest Service people... |

| Ratlaf: | Let's do it! I wouldn't mind a mapping challenge. Maybe have Plamen vet the map for me... As long as there's no set deadline. |

| bbrooke: | I'm not sure what the latest is, in terms of our 2008 mapping plans. In order to get up-to-speed, I'd have to suggest that we resume our monthly meetings -- and I'm not crazy about that idea. ;-)
But I'll let you know if I hear any updates... |
