Ratlaf: That's one of the things I love about Oing, you can never loose your mind until after you cross the finish line, and having compeditors near you is an easy way to loose it... It takes a long time to get good at keeping your brain firmly within your skull when under pressure!

bbrooke: What's really frustrating is I knew that what I was doing was stupid as I left #14 (i.e., running off blindly, without a plan, assuming I'd just hit the control), and yet I did it anyway. I get angry every time I think about it and look at my tracks!!!

On the other hand, I've noticed recently that I definitely push myself to go faster (rather than just walking) when I'm consciously trying to catch somebody or drop somebody...

So, I guess having other people around is a mixed bag.
