iansmith: It's astonishing how well each bump, mile, and stroke of the journey is recorded in our butts (or at least mine). For each of the above, I have an ache. Do you feel the trip?

Lori: I definitely feel the trip: in my butt, arms, shoulders, and back. Surprisingly, the part of my body that was presumably doing the work (my legs, I guess minus my knees) doesn't seem to be particularly affected.

Jhuberman: Well if you would get of those wedgies and ride a recumbent you wouldn't have that problem.

Lori: Yeah...I would much rather ride a recumbent. Unfortunately it is in NC. I guess I need to do an East Coast bicycle trip. Or at least car trip if I want it up in MA.
