Yukon King: those are all sobering thoughts at least, and worthy of further attention.
I was also wondering about the 17 Project (or 14, I forgot) - I noticed you are regularly achieving rather high numbers (at least in my opinion) - are you noticing any biases towards a certain subset of activities, anything getting easier and regular? anything else you've noticed? ta...

jjcote: On Sunday it was 18.

barb: Yes, there are definitely biases toward the activities that aren't exercise! :-) I've been taking vitamins, getting to bed by 10, avoiding meat, and avoiding AP/sudoku/dailykos most successfully. I usually don't get to the 5 goals I set at the beginning of the day.

I'm already on week 5, so need to get at least 5 points per day.

jjcote: Is the "supportive mom" item going to get more challenging when the kids head out?

barb: No; if I left it on the list, it would get easier. It's mostly actually a "don't get mad at the kids" item. Which is pretty easy when they are not around. But I'll change it to something else.

kissy: This point made me laugh. The ideal way to get points would be "be a supportive mom," but the reality is, "don't yell at the kids too much."
