| BorisGr: | What do you think of that? Seems like they should have let him run the selections races, right? |

| Jagge: | Of course! |

| BorisGr: | Every country seems to have its WOC selection problems, even (!!!) the US: http://www.attackpoint.org/discussionthread.jsp/me... |

| bubo: | Where are the selection races going to be held - in Czech Republic? If so - will the runners allowed to run in these selection races pay their own way or will this be paid by the Finnish association? How many runners will take part?
Why should anyone be so strict as not even allow people interested in qualifying to start - if they run well they would apparently be worth a spot on the team and that should be the ultimate goal of the selection races - to get the best possible team to run in WOC... |

| Swampfox: | Maybe they found out about the peanut butter and jelly sandwich thing--not exactly correct makkara protocol, no? |

| Jagge: | The meat % in makkara and the the peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich are about the same ( 0%). It's difficult to believe it makes any difference. Maybe they misread the article as jellyfish sandwich. No-one would pick a sprinter who is on greasy fat jellyfish diet, right? |

| Jagge: | Maybe they didn know More uses Suunto's HRM as you can see.
http://www.martenbostrom.com/images/sprintoroberts... Maybe he has this T6 with the optional food pod. I am sot sure of this, but I guess you put it in your throat and it measures calory intake. For more information: http://www.pccoach.com/running/index.htm (Suunto T6). |
