kupackman: Do you go twice a week? How long will the sessions get?

Most of mine were about two hours long, and they were pretty good. I've been a bad patient since my sessions ended. I don't stretch as often as I should, and I went to the doctor today and he told me to become a "neurotic stretcher" if I want this pain/tightness to go away pronto.

HKuestner: Yes, I go about twice a week; I think there're 3 more sessions before I leave for orienteering. They're each an hour long; it's just the exercises they assign to do at home that keep taking longer because they add more but don't subtract any old ones. I haven't had any knee pain for at least a week and a half, though, so something's working!

I can relate to the 'neurotic stretching' advice...I never really bothered stretching before, & it was one of the first things the PT guy mentioned.

Best of luck with your ankle! Injuries are frustrating :-/.

kupackman: Ah, my sessions were longer, but I had less "homework".

I always stretch (a lot) before activity now, but I never really just stretched for the heck of it multiple times (10+) a day. But that's what I gotta do!

It's good to know that my injury is healed... I just need to work through getting rid of the scar tissue and getting my flexibility back... which is painful!

So you'll leave for JWOC in about a week then?
