Cristina: hi!

speedy: Where?

Sandy: Was this a CSU thing?

triple-double: Hi guys! Yes, Ross organized a small sprint at the Peter's hill map (it is a small, pretty park). It was great. We took the T to the end of the orange line (Forrest Hills?) and it is within 5 min walk from there.

Oh a different note, I got my schedule yesterday and I am pretty certain that I must have gotten the worst schedule of all the interns. I am scheduled to work in the ICU for the whole month overlapping both Christmas and New Year's (every 3rd night in the hospital, not a whole full weekend off, and very exhausting). I am also scheduled for the "HIT list" block over Thanksgiving (basically to replace anyone who may get sick, have to be reachable by pager 24-7 and within 1 hour of the hospital). I am utterly depressed.

Sandy: Oh no! Well, we'll just have to come visit you instead of the other way around. I wonder if my sister's house in NH is within 1 hour of the hospital...

triple-double: Hi Sandy. Your message just really made my day. That sounds like a great idea; and, even if that does not work-- if you are passing by, or visiting your sister, or would like to visit Boston, or just visit us :), that would be absolutely wonderful and we will do our best to find suitable accomodations :).

speedy: You are strong and you'll handle all the little ups and litle downs.

triple-double: Thanks Speedy!

Sswede: UGH, that schedule sucks! I just want to let you know that I've seen dozens of interns survive residency boot camp...you can do it! (((Hugs)))

triple-double: Thanks Sandy!!! It is reassuring to know that drones of residents across the country survive their residency each year. It is still terrifying to even imagine that in just a week or so I will be some pour souls' doctor. Here goes nothing!

Wyatt: You've already played the part of US Orienteering Team doctor, and Botswanian(?) doctor, so it's not like you're going to be a doctor for the first time :) I for one would be very happy to see you should I need emergency medical treatment at 2'o-clock on Christmas morning... Good luck. Maybe we'll visit in August? We're thinking of heading up to the COC's.

triple-double: Hi Wyatt! You are very kind, but thank you anyway :). I can't promise that I will be off work when you come, or that we'll have spacious accomodations, but you are always very welcome to come. We have a blow-up queen mattress, and lots of floor space!
