fthfl stwrd rudy: Was that in downtown DC? i found the traffic there to be hair-raising, from pedestrian, biking, and driving perspective. it seems there are many who think traffic regulations don't apply!

Nadim: I'm guessing that you're referring to my ride home rather than my ride to where I work in downtown DC. Your sister will attest that the Capital Crescent Trail is pretty good between Bethesda and Georgetown. There can be a lot of cyclists as I mentioned in the log but one can accomplish pace lines on the railroad grade. From Georgetown I ride along the river up until the 14th Street Bridge. There's a different trail for most of that portion and traffic is pretty easy. I usually round the Jefferson Memorial rather than go up Independence Ave. where the Main Ave. intersection is bad.
