fthfl stwrd rudy: goat cheese, basil, olives, feta, walnuts, greens?

Yukon King: whoa. that's freakish.
my solution includes (a pasta "dressing" of) goat cheese, walnuts, artichoke hearts, parsley, and garlic. and of course, adding the Nasty Thangs into the pasta dough itself which I'm about to cut into, um...gotta look it up...pappardelle (they're big, so less cutting) accompanied by a stirfry of broc, shrooms, & an odd squash which I am Hoping is a summer one. Then ice-cold cherries in a white bowl.

(but the underlying problem is actually one of sheer massive volume; I unknowingly purchased what amounts to a life-time supply of non-oil-immersed sundried tomato....they were cheap! I didnt know!) - cheap, but unco-operative, more like chips that dissolve into red sludge with unpleasant strings etc in them, whereas the oil ones are more like deliciously chewy tomato leather.

fthfl stwrd rudy: How are they in a stew or soup? tomato soup? their sludge-like qualities might shine in such a setting! but then, i like tomato saucy things, and could probably eat them the requisite 100 days in a row.:)

Yukon King: yes, that's a good idea!
I'm doing a chili later on this week, and will conceal a bunch of them in there. Ha!
