| MrPither: | when I messed up my ankle, the physio person got me to do hot-cold foot baths. 5min ice bucket, 2min warm over and over. It worked wonders. |

| Hammer: | Thanks Patrick. How is your foot?

| Wyatt: | Maybe I should try that for my hamstring - hard to submerge the whole leg, but hot/cold/hot/cold has seemed to do good things for some of my other injuries in the past. Thanks for the reminder MrPither! |

| MrPither: | you could always give it a shot with hot/cold packs, but i've never found them to be as good for feet anyway. hot/cold baths will be a little shocking on the rest of the lower body I''m thinking ;) let us know how it goes though. |

| Wyatt: | I did the hot/cold pack thing yesterday evening and the day before. It's deep hamstring injury, so it's hard to do much with external hot/cold, and as you suggest, submerging the whole thing is tough.
But I can't imagine it hurting much, and if feels good, and the leg is slowly improving (probably mostly due to other factors, primarily rest.) Anyway, I'll keep it up for a while. |
