And I like the early starts on D5-Friday. With any luck, we can get down to Turku early for some sightseeing before embarking on the ferry. |

Soupie (or Soupi in Finnish?) is on a roll. He won his age group at a national A-meet out in California last weekend by many minutes, and ran a 20:41 5km race yesterday. Unfortunately he let his arch-rival slip by coming into the finish chute. Now he's in 5th Place (scroll down to 50-54 age group) instead of tied for 4th. But since he is actually 55 for orienteering races, he's competing in this 2008 running circuit with the "kids." |

Clark is going to e.mail you our final info about arriving. But you knoe the basic plan. We will be taking the night ferry from Stockholm on the 11th and arrive in Helsinki on the 12th am. I believe its the viking line. I am not sure. |

We'll be arriving Helsinki harbor on Viking Lines ferry from Stockholm next Saturday morning, about 9-10am. Sari, Charlie and I will be aboard. I hope we can all fit into the Prius. Once we get to Mänttä we can get rid of Sari, and have a bit of breathing room. Is it possible to strap two bags onto the top of the car? |
